Wizard of Oz Weekend
Follow the yellow brick road to Harvest Tyme for one of our favorite weekends on the farm! Dorothy, Tinman, Scarecrow, and Lion can’t wait to welcome you for the return of our annual Wizard of Oz Weekend, taking place September 21 & 22, 2024, during our Construction Tyme event.
Location
All Wizard of Oz events will take place at the Harvest Tyme Special Events Stage except the candy cannon. The candy cannon will be shot at the Harvest Tyme Special Events field.
Schedule of Events
Opening Ceremony
Time: 10:30 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.
Welcome Dorothy and her fantastic friends as they arrive from the Land of Oz to make their annual visit to Harvest Tyme Family Farm.
Character Photo Opportunity
Time: 10:45 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
The Spirit of Oz characters will be together in one place to take photos with our guests to commemorate their amazing journey to Harvest Tyme Family Farm. Don’t worry if you don’t get your picture during this time as there will be another group session at 2:45 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Storytime Sing Along
Time: 11:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
Come listen to Dorothy and her friends tell exciting stories about their adventures in Oz and sing along to some of your favorite Wizard of Oz Songs.

Candy Cannon Launch
Time: 2:00 p.m.
Join your favorite Wizard of Oz characters as they launch Harvest Tyme’s oversized candy cannon. It will be raining candy as our candy cannon uses 500 gallons of compressed air to shoot candy for all our younger guests to enjoy. Be on time as our candy cannon is launched at exactly 2 p.m.

Costume Contest
Time: 2:30 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.
Come dressed as your favorite Wizard of Oz character. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, prizes are given for the best character costumes. Register between 2:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. next to the Harvest Tyme Special Events Stage. Participants will be grouped by page.
Infants to 5 yrs. old · 6 yrs. old to 12 yrs. old · 13 yrs. old to Adult
